It’s 2008 and the Today show is still doing a “Who Wears the Pants in Your Household?” segment; yeah… that’s really what we need, further entrenchment of power dynamics in inter-gender relations. Great.
It’s 2008, can we please bury and leave behind for good the idea that relationships, of any kind (romantic, platonic, business, couples, communities, countries) need be run by someone “in charge” rather than through the balanced and fair consensus of all participants involved?
